Planner Tips For Success

We are just four days into the new year and I am already having SO much fun!

I am thinking about everything I want to do and everywhere I want to be and how it is my job to do it!

Some people might think that, that is a little scary, but for me it is SO exciting!

Being in charge of my own goals is something that excites me and gives me power.

I may be just eleven, but I am the one responsible for me, and that is something that really makes me feel proud.

I get to be the hero in my own story and that is something so cool!

I don't want around for anyone else to make my dreams come true- I go out and do it!

It is something I believe so strongly in, and it is why I do everything I can to help other kids know they have the power, too!I love teaching kids how to use my #Goalgetter Goal Setting Worksheet like we talked about yesterday, and I also love to teach them how to take those goals they wrote down and use a planner to make them come to life!

I love planners!!

I love pens! I love markers! I love pencils! I love colored pencils! I love stickers!

I. Just. Love. To. Create.

It is who I am!

Being able to literally design my own life is something so important to me.

In the beginning of every new year, I always pick out the best planner.

One that sticks out to me with my favorite colors or favorite sayings so I know it is something that I want to use.

I make sure to find a favorite pen and keep it in my favorite place so it is a priority for me.

I use this planner as a way to take my big goals and make plans for each individual day on how I am going to get closer to it.

We can't just have a big goal and not take any action to achieve it- right?!

I make sure to use my planner in a way that gets me excited. If I know ahead of time I have all day to get just one thing done to bring me closer, it makes it easier for me to actually make it happen!

I make smaller goals for each day to bring me closer to my goal at the end of the week, to make my goal at the end of the month, to make my dream come true for the end of the year!

Everyone's goals will be different.

Maybe this year you want to make the soccer team.

Or join the choir.

Maybe you want to get straight A's.

Maybe your goal is to clean your room every day.

Maybe you want to be like me and write music! Or travel!

There is no such thing as a goal too big or a goal too small, as long as we have them.

Planners help me to write it down, see it, and be able to remember it everyday.

This alone helps me in my goal accomplishing so much more!

I put together an infographic with my #GoalGetters tips on how to use a planner that really help me get the most out of my planning.
